The nyckelharpa is a traditional music instrument from Sweden. "Nyckel" means key in swedish and "harpa" is a generic term for stringed-instruments, therefore an exact translation of the name would be "music instrument with strings and keys". Another possible english translation is "keyed fiddle" - but most players keep the original swedish name.
